To be honest with you, I never would have imagined the difference that a new camera would make. Before, I saw something, I photographed it, and I thought that was that. Oh boy, was I wrong. My eyes have been opened. I recently purchased the Canon Rebel XS, and have been experimenting with its settings. I have to admit, I'm still working on getting used to it! None the less, I went ahead and ordered some macro lenses last night. I hope they are worth my while.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, I'm hoping that I will be able to go out to the lake and the waterfall like I did the year before last. I know this time around will be more difficult because I will have a 6 month old strapped to my chest, but I'm sure she will enjoy the view as much as I do. Perhaps a little fresh air would do her good anyways. I'm very excited to see what I can do.

I am always up for insights, tips, advice, and constructive criticism. I know that there are a million people out there who take pictures, but I want to do something I feel passionate about. If a million other people share my passion, so be it. We shall start a photography movement!! If you have any advice to give me, I'm all ears.
